Mark your calendars! Again, this year Columbiana SWCD has partnered with Carroll

SWCD, Mahoning SWCD, Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, and the Ohio

Division of Wildlife to put together the next installment of our Conservation Wildlife

Habitat Days (CWHD) series. This series moves throughout the partnered counties and

showcase many different wildlife and forestry related conservation practices.

This year’s event will be held at Leesville Wildlife Area on Delta Road near Camp

Falcon in Carroll County on July 12th , 2025. The program will run from 9am-2pm. This

year’s event will cover topics such as edge feathering, timber harvesting, timber

marking, wildlife food plots, invasive species removal, and brush piles for wildlife to

name a few. We will also discuss cost share conservation programs, such as the

Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), that may be available to help

landowners implement these practices on their own private lands.

This event will cost $15 to attend, which will also cover drinks, lunch, and learning

materials which will be provided. RSVP will be required by June 28, 2025. For more

information or to RSVP please contact Jason Reynolds at 330-70402742 or by email at
